Bucket Steamer

Bucket Steamer

By far my favorite of all my steampunk designs yet. I will have a list of all the parts up shortly. I think it has about 60 parts just after a quick count.

Nicknamed the ‘Bucket Steamer’ with its two large buckets used as a boiler and control pit this vehicle is best used for shorts trips as is guzzles steam and runs out of its fuel supplies quickly. Its one propeller is also not quite beneficial for speed either.

Here we are again. I think this also marks just about one month of MOCs of the Week. Quite a feat for me to actually be able to continue something for a month. Now down to business…

‘Till next week.

Inspired by recent work from Dr. X. and brainbike.rider.

I wanted to try using highlights of a few exotic colors with this hence the teal. The cockpit design is also a very new style for me.

I don’t think the photography does it much justice. Trust me when I say is looks much better in person.

My uhh, err SHIP. I know it looks very WIP, but I guess that can be attributed to the fact that it is a WIP and will always stay a WIP. Anyway I thought I would get a picture of it up.

I promise the new one I’m working on will actually get done and look better.

SHIP Sketch

SHIP Sketch

After about an hour of work I’ve come up with the final sketch design for my largest and most ambisious creation ever. A four foot SHIP. (Simply Huge Investment of Parts)

The frame will have to be altered drastically to achieve this, but I am really hoping to try this and still keep the frame as something usable.

The colors are there to stay for the most parts and I really like how the dark bley, blue, white, and light bley all look together. The hangar will be completely open and most likely hold two fighters.

Other than that I totally ripped this idea off of Thomas.

The vignette has lights that can be seen in the BrickShelf Gallery [When Moderated].

Imperial City

Welcome to Imperial City the infamous small merchant town! With small palm trees, classic architecture, and cobblestone leaves is is a beautiful city to see.

I like the use of jumper plates as part of the architecture, (idea taken from Jordan). I actually like how all of this turned especially the cobblestone pathway I managed to squeeze in.

We have a great lineup for this week including work by Firas, Nnenn, and more. (Including some fantastic quality Indiana Jones based creations.

Until next week this is your MOCs of the Week – Segement Three.
